The service
EmojiDig is a free website for finding and copying emoji. There is no account, subscription or payment. We may change, add or remove features, or stop the service, at any time.
Emoji and our content
Emoji are standard Unicode characters. Copying and using them is free: they are text, and the images you see are drawn by your own device. The designs of emoji belong to the companies that make them (such as Apple, Google, Samsung and Microsoft). The only emoji pictures EmojiDig shows are Google’s Noto designs for emoji your device can’t draw yet, used under their open-source licence (see the licenses page).
The text written for this site (meanings, examples, collections, extra search words and page copy) belongs to EmojiDig. You may quote short parts with a link back. Please don’t copy whole pages or large parts of the site, or scrape it in bulk. Data we use from others, such as Unicode’s CLDR names, is listed with its licence on the licenses page.
Acceptable use
Don’t use the site in a way that harms it or other people: no attempts to break or overload it, to get around its security, or to use it for anything unlawful.
No guarantees
We work to keep the emoji list complete and the information accurate, but the site is provided “as is”. Emoji meanings describe common usage and can differ between people, groups and countries; we can’t guarantee how a message will be read. We don’t promise the site will always be available or error-free.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, EmojiDig is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, including from how an emoji or message you sent was understood. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Other services
The site is hosted by Cloudflare and may link to other websites. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to them. How we handle data is described in the privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, and continuing to use the site means you accept it. Questions are welcome on the contact page.
